As an energy consumer considering the Green Deal you can rest assured that all parties involved in the implementation of energy efficiency measures have followed a robust accreditation process. The Green Deal market place is open to all and as a result, very competitive and tailored towards the consumer. The Green Deal attracts a wide range of organisations, which may provide one or more of the Green Deal accredited services. Consumers are likely to be approached by different types of organisations from high street retailers to housing associations, and from local builders to local authorities.
Why Now?
Through the Green Deal, consumers have the option to choose to make energy efficiency improvements to their property NOW, before the proposed mandatory energy efficiency savings regulations come into force, which could be April 2015 at the earliest.
Who Implements Green Deal Measures?
What’s great for the consumer is that with the Green Deal there is NO ‘Hassle Factor’. All the work is carried by accredited Green Deal providers, advisers and installers. Consumers just need to register their interest and, or, provide their permissions for the process to begin.
